Cut wages… and if you can’t cut wages then cut staffing.

City council and the city manager should have spent money repairing roadways and infrastructure instead of installing bike paths and rearranging traffic / parking in the downtown core. Come on people it’s our money you are throwing about and you need to be accountable for it. Stop taking lessons from the feds.

We have to stop the wasteful bureaucracy. Lethbridge city council raise taxes but city infrastructure continues to deteriorate.

I am tired of my tax money going towards woke projects like bike lanes, the exhibition building, and cleanup after people who are not tax payers. We need a term limit on people who serve on city council. Eight years is long enough to be on city council. The city looks dirty and is filled with people who do drugs and hang out on busy streets. Lower our taxes and make our city a place we can be proud of.

Bicycle lanes, New exhibition building, art center, etc. Wasteful spending in my mind, while we have other huge buildings in the city wasting space and power etc. Exhibition grounds as well, money could have been invested to fix them up a bit instead of sitting empty during whoop up days

Yes, I agree with a 20 % tax reduction. There has been gross mismanagement of public funds and we should not be the ones footing the bill. Stop this foolish spending and get your house in order. When you go to a grocery store and you don’t have enough money, you put something back on the shelf instead of buying what you can’t afford. The same applies here.

We need a whole new City Council that will be conservative and respectful of the tax payers’ money. There’s no way that we can’t have better service for less taxes.
