Council Results Are In

Lethbridge voters have spoken!

In the Mayoral race, Blaine Hyggen was re-elected with 7,340 votes (42.97%), defeating Ryan Mennie, who received 6,435 votes (37.67%).

For City Council, voters chose eight representatives. Belinda Crowson led the field with 8,508 votes, followed by Jenn Schmidt-Rempel with 7,854, Rajko Dodic with 6,841, Ryan Wolfe with 6,395, Al Beeber with 6,347, Rufa Doria with 6,272, Mark Campbell with 6,203, and Ryan Parker with 6,001.

One incumbent, John Middleton-Hope, lost his seat with 5,406 votes.

The new faces on Council are Ryan Wolfe, Al Beeber, and Rufa Doria, bringing fresh perspectives to a largely returning group of Councillors.

With this mix, Lethbridge’s next Council will be tasked with managing key priorities, including fiscal responsibility, local services, and community development.

As Mayor Hyggen and the new Council members take office, the coming months will show how this team works together to meet the city’s challenges and deliver results for residents.

One thing is certain - Lethbridge voters are expecting leadership that listens, acts decisively, and puts the city’s priorities first.
